A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF WOODLAWN, HAMILTON COUNTY, OHIO, AND SIX STRING BREW WORKS, LLC AND SIX STRING PROPERTY ACQUISITION, LLC PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF A PROJECT WHICH WILL BRING JOBS AND REVENUE TO THE VILLAGE OF WOODLAWN WITHIN A COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT AREA.
WHEREAS, The Council of the Village of Woodlawn by ordinance No. 46 passed on October 25, 1994, consented to the establishment of a Community Reinvestment Area as authorized by Section 3735.66 of the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS, Effective February 7, 1995, the Director of Development of the State of Ohio determined that the aforementioned area designated by the Council in said Resolution contains the characteristics set forth in O.R.C., Section 3735.66; and WHEREAS, Six String Brew Works, LLC and Six String Property Acquisition, LLC now proposes a project which will create investment and employment opportunities in the Village of Woodlawn; and WHEREAS, The Council of the Village of Woodlawn has reviewed the proposed project and is of the opinion that Six String Brew Works, LLC and Six String Property Acquisition, LLC are qualified to create and preserve employment opportunities in the Community Reinvestment Area;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Woodlawn, Hamilton County, Ohio, majority of all concurring:
SECTION I The Council hereby authorizes and directs the Municipal Manager to enter into a Community Reinvestment Area agreement with Six String Brew Works, LLC and Six String Property Acquisition, LLC, in substantially the same form as hereto as Exhibit A.
SECTION II That the Village of Woodlawn will compensate the Princeton City School District if the payroll associated with this project meets or exceeds one million dollars ($1,000,000), pursuant to Section 5709.82 of the Ohio Revised Code.
SECTION III That this Resolution shall be in full force and take effect from and after the earliest date allowed by law.
