A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH PHYSIO-CONTROL, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO LIFPAK 15 CARDIAC MONITOR/ DEFIBRILLATORS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT FROM PHYSIO-CONTROL INC. AND AUTHORIZING THE TRADE IN OF TWO ZOLI E-SERIES CARDIAC MONITOR/ DEFIBRILLATORS THAT ARE NO LONGER NEEDED FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES. WHEREAS, The Woodlawn Fire Department is in need of two new Lifpak cardiac monitor/defibrillators and related equipment; and WHEREAS, Said units are available from Physio-Control, Inc. as part of the State of Ohio Cooperative Purchasing Program; and WHEREAS, The Woodlawn Fire Department currently has two Zoli E-Series cardiac monitors/ defibrillators that are no longer needed for municipal services; and WHEREAS, The Village can trade in the Zoli E-Series to Physio-Control Inc. to offset the costs of the new units, which brings the total purchase price for both units and related equipment down to $53,358.37; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Woodlawn, Hamilton County, Ohio, majority of all concurring: SECTION I The two Zoli E-Series cardiac monitors/ defibrillators are no longer needed for municipal purposes and may be traded in for the purchase of new replacement equipment as provided herein; and SECTION II The Municipal Manager is authorized to execute a contract with Physio-Control, Inc. for the purchase of two Lifpak 15 cardiac monitors/ defibrillators and related equipment in an amount of $53,358.37 after trade in.
