The
Woodlawn Ohio National Guard Training and Community Center is a
contemporary facility located at 10050 Woodlawn Blvd. in the Village of
Woodlawn. The Center houses the Woodlawn Parks and Recreation
Department and is also home to the 216th Engineer Battalion (HSC)
Headquarters Service Company, the 1-174th Air Defense Artillery (HHB)
Headquarters, and Headquarters Battery, Battery A and Battery B of the
Ohio National Guard. Features of the Woodlawn Community Center include
multiple classrooms, two gymnasiums with hardwood floors, locker rooms,
an auditorium, AV room, an administrative area and a state-of-the-art
fitness area. | The facility will allow Woodlawn to unveil a whole host
of recreational opportunities for its residents, businesses and the
public at large, including arts and crafts classes, community
educational and/or instructional programs, basketball leagues, tot
programs, computer rooms, badminton leagues, volleyball leagues,
specialty camps for holidays and summers, senior programs, health and
wellness programs, and adult programming. |
