| Residents & Visitors:
While convenient access to all
points of the region is afforded to all who live, work
and visit Woodlawn via major thoroughfares such as
Glendale Milford Road (SR 126), Springfield Pike (SR 4),
and Interstate 75, the residential areas of Beautiful
Woodlawn are located off the beaten track. Residents
enjoy quiet home sites, many nestled in the woods of
Woodlawn or adjacent to parks.
Woodlawn
is part of the Princeton City School District
– highly regarded for its academic excellence - and has
had one elementary school located in the Village. Just
this year, the elementary school was demolished to make
way for a new elementary school now under
construction and slated to open for the 2006/2007 school
year.
In
addition, Woodlawn residents enjoy close and
convenient shopping for all goods and services
imaginable! Queen City Metro bus service
provides service to all points in the metro area. A
well-trained and equipped Police Department
provides around-the-clock protection for the community
which, fortunately, can boast a low crime rate.
The Woodlawn Fire Department is top-notch
and the Emergency Medical Services now
include in-house paramedic services!
Beautiful Woodlawn is true to its name with more than
25 acres of municipal parks, and the top-rated
Hamilton County Park: Glenwood Gardens.
Hike and bike trails area available through
most of the parks and more trails are planned!
Recreation programs are available for all age
groups. And a brand new community center will open
in 2006 offering space for a broader range of
programs!
