Over 100 museums and art galleries further enhance Greater Cincinnati's distinction as a cultural center, including the Art Museum in Eden Park, the Contemporary Arts Center, Taft Museum, Museum of Natural History and Krohn Conservatory.

At Great American Ballpark sports enthusiasts can enjoy watching the Cincinnati Reds, baseball's first professional team, and at Paul Brown Stadium can watch the Cincinnati Bengal's who emerged as the NFL's American Conference Champion in 1988. Within walking distance of downtown is US Bank Arena which hosts numerous sports and concert events, the Bicentennial Commons includes ice skating and tennis facilities, and Riverbend, summer home to the Symphony and many other outdoor concerts.

Three local race tracks are available for those with a passion for horseracing. Just a little further away are Kentucky's beautiful horse farms, and Churchill Downs, home to the Kentucky Derby. Or if you prefer viewing wild animals in a more natural environment, visit the Cincinnati Zoo, one of the top ten zoos in the U.S. and labeled as the "sexiest zoo in the nation" for its record setting propagation of rare and endangered species.

For more thrills drive about thirty minutes north of Woodlawn to Paramount Kings Island Amusement Park set in 1600 acres of woodland, the Jack Nicholas Sports Center, and the College Football Hall of Fame. Several other water and amusement parks, all with a different twist, are also located in Greater Cincinnati. Cross over the Ohio River, into Kentucky and enjoy the Newport Aquarium!
